It is trained on a large set of databases using a human-feedback model. It can also perform translation, summarization, and text generation.

By using the natural language processing technology of ChatGPT, it is possible to automate various tasks in the field of cybersecurity. Some key areas where ChatGPT can be useful in security are Threat Intelligence, Risk Assessment, Incident Response and so on. Also, ChatGPT can assist some aspects of Penetration testing like Reconnaissance, Vulnerability scanning, Exploitation, Generating Report templates and other automation.
